JEFF McCAIN, CPE

Jeff has more than 30 years of experience in estimating and project management. He is skilled in all aspects of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines, and has specialized knowledge of design and construction practices for a broad range of rides and attractions. This experience has been acquired through work on a variety of theme parks, zoos, and sports facilities. Jeff works on projects from the master plan stage through construction.

Prior to joining Cumming, Jeff worked for Walt Disney Imagineering as a Principal Project Estimator for nearly ten years. In that role, he developed and maintained project budgets and estimates for a wide spectrum of attractions for Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure. Since that time, Jeff and his team at Cumming have provided similar services to Dedica, Disney, LA Zoo, MGM, Ocean Park, Premier Exhibits, SD Wildlife Park, Sotto Studios Inc., The Hettema Group, VisionMaker Worldwide, and other themed entertainment companies.

While employed by Disney, Jeff contributed to a book titled The Imagineers. His insights into the costing of themed entertainment facilities have been valued by many in the industry, as demonstrated by this passage in Pricing on Purpose, which was taken from his contribution to The Imagineers.
