Cumming provided cost estimating services in support of master planning activities for the VA Medical Center in Long Beach. The estimates included costs for three alternate schemes at the facility. The master plan involved approximately 386,000 sq. ft. of building space, which included new building construction, the demolition of several existing facilities, and renovation work. The project also included 222,000 sq. ft. of parking and 150,000 sq. ft. of site work.
